Abdurrahman Eke was a staff member of Middle East Technical University (METU) during the university’s formative and early development years. He held various administrative positions at METU in the 1960s, including Head of the Records Office at the Faculty of Architecture. He also served as the Cafeteria Manager in 1969–1970. Eke undertook personal archival work to preserve documents, photographs, and other materials relating to METU’s early history. His notes and archival materials provide valuable information on the University’s founding years and institutional development. Eke donated his personal archive and collection of visual materials to METU, which are now accessible through METU Memory (ODTÜ Bellek). The collection includes photographs, documents, and other historical materials, particularly from the 1960s, offering valuable insights into the early history and development of the University.
