Middle East University foundation laid

The foundation of the Middle East Technical University was laid at a ceremony held at its new site, located 15 kilometers from Ankara, at 16:00 yesterday. President Celal Bayar, BMM President Refik Koraltan and Prime Minister Adnan Menderes, who attended the ceremony, personally used an excavator used in the groundbreaking ceremony.
