METU's 20th anniversary was celebrated with a ceremony

The 20th anniversary of the foundation of Middle East Technical University was celebrated with a ceremony yesterday. A delegation consisting of METU President Professor Ilgaz Alyanak, members of the board of trustees, academicians and university officials laid a wreath at Anıtkabir at 11:30 and observed a moment of silence. President Alyanak wrote in the special book that METU students and academicians will defend Atatürk's principles and fulfill their duty in protecting the revolutions.
