Burhan Alkar, Space and Youth Monument

In 1986, there was a competition for the ODTÜ Youth Monument, and Burhan Alkar emerged as the winner. Alkar stated, "I created this monument to showcase the youth's interest in space. If you pay attention to the base, it encompasses the entire world."
