METU vehicles transporting people to the Lake Festival

The first of the traditional Eymir Lake Festivals and The Traditional Tree Planting Festivals of the METU which gifted the METU forest to Ankara was held in 1961. In the events held every year's spring months, alongside tree planting, volleyball matches, and leisure fishing contest; rowing and swimming races were held in the boathouse built by the lake, where trophy ceremonies were held.
