METU in TRT Archive: Afforestation studies

One of the studies of the university regarding the dormitory problem is the afforestation campaign. According to the results obtained from the studies carried out to determine the cheapest and most suitable afforestation method in arid regions, waterless afforestation with the banquet terrace method was started in the large land of the university. Until 1973, the number of trees planted at the university reached 17,500,000.
