METU Appreciation Award: Mehmet Ali Acartürk

Due to the adoption of METU Law on 27 May 1959, each year, the last day of May is celebrated as METU Day. On METU Day, the people who have made important services to our country are awarded with “METU Outstanding Service Award”, and METU graduates who have been successful in different fields are given “METU Recognition Award” by METU Senate.
